With value key for consumers in tough times, The Original Factory Shop (TOFS) is targeting ever-popular sportswear with deep discounts on its e-store for a category previously only available in-store.

Following the retailer’s recent investment to make TOFS “a more agile and reactive business” the sportswear launch means its customers can shop over 30 products from brands such as Adidas and Nike, promising savings on the RRP.
The current offer includes 30 sports apparel and trainer lines with “more leading brands to follow in 2025”, it said.
The lines feature trainers, hoodies, shorts, and T-shirts, with prices starting at £20 for Adidas Original T-shirts, £40 for Adidas Trefoil Hoodies and £55 for the best-selling Samba trainers.
Tracy Ford, Chief Merchandising Officer, said: “With the summer season just around the corner we wanted to give shoppers something to smile about and it proves that you don’t have to break the bank to access sportswear from premium brands. We expect these lines to prove really popular.”
One of the UK’s biggest independent value retailers, TOFS is currently up for sale with its owner Duke Street calling in Deloitte for a sale of the 15-year-old business last month, according to reports.
TOFS sells a wide variety of goods plus fashion brands including Calvin Klein, Under Armour and Jimmy Choo, as well as beauty brands including L’Oréal, selling at substantial discounts to high street prices.
The business, which employs more than 1,500 staff, recorded operating earnings of around £7 million in its latest results.
