For The Perfume Shop, “fragrance is the ultimate timeless gift”, especially when it comes to Mother’s Day. So the UK’s largest fragrance retailer looks to have celebrated in style with its related unit sales adding up to a staggering 140,000 bottles sold between 3 and 10 March.

And that translates to a 16% increase in sales volume for the retailer compared to the same period in 2025. It follows a similar double-digit rise for the retailer linked to Valentine’s Day and is a testament to its strong story opening and upgrade programme.
The top five brands for the period? Marc Jacobs Daisy EdT Gift Set, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle EdP, Dior Miss Dior EdP, Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush Elixir EdP, Vera Wang Princess EdT, and Hugo Boss The Scent Elixir For Her EdP.
Meanwhile, those Perfume Shop sales were also driven by an 11% increase in demand for classic fragrances and, importantly, a 100% increase in gift sets compared to 2025, given the general search for more value in these tough times.
Promotional deals also proved popular for Mother’s Day with its website's busiest day on Sunday 3 March, seeing a 24.9% increase in fragrance purchases compared to last year.
Also, the retailer noted its personalisation services were in “high demand”, delivering over 27,000 ribbons and 460 engraved fragrances, it said. And related sales were up 4% vs 2025.
