British sustainable intimates brand Stripe & Stare has launched its first pop up in Selfridges. Situated on the London department store’s third floor Body Studio it will trade across the whole of March. 



The temporary store comes with a specially styled space and its classic 'news cart’ in the brand’s classic peach colour. The cart is adorned with product, postcards and fibres to show how the briefs are made from trees while a company newspaper ‘The Daily Brief’ is also available.

The publication contains “informative and playful” articles on how to choose the best briefs shape, how many pairs people should own and what it means to the company to be BCorp certified in 2025. 

Continuing the brand’s long-standing relationship with Selfridges, the pop-up will host a variety of shapes and styles new to the store, such as the brand’s classic silky-soft pyjamas, fitted bodies, fabric bras and an array of briefs shapes, including The Original Knicker, High Rise Knickers, Thongs, Brazilian, Hipsters and Unisex Boxers. 

The six-year-old brand’s collections are made sustainably in Austria from beechwood trees, with the fabrics “scientifically proven to be three times softer than cotton, wears better, is moisture wicking and just as breathable as fresh air in a forest of responsibly planted trees”. 

It claims a VIP portfolio of fans including Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reece Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, Amelia Windsor, Charlotte Tilbury, Lila Moss, Camille Charriere, Poppy Delevingne, and multiple Kardashians.
