Digital platform Arts Thread and luxury fashion house Gucci have announced the winners of the Global Design Graduate Show 2025.

The fourth edition saw over 5,823 students enter their work across Fashion/Accessories/Textiles, as well as Fine Art/Photography/Craft, plus Digital/Visual Communication/Film, and Product Design/Architecture/Interiors. And this year’s entries were “continually surpassing previous years”, noted Arts Thread.
In all, the work was overseen by 175 Industry judges alongside a public vote enabling 211,742 voting fans of the students’ work to choose their favourites.
Winners within the Fashion/Accessories/Textiles category were: Street/Casual joint winners Lily Wilson of Manchester Metropolitan University and Rebecca Wong of Kingston School of Art. In Formal/Couture Zining Ye of America’s Fashion Institute of Technology FIT took the prize.
For Sustainable Fashion/Textiles, the winner was Lilach Porges, also of FIT, and in Accessories, it was Anne Elori Lespade of the Institut Français de la Mode IFM.
Moving on to Textiles, the Knit/Weave winner was Emilie Palle Holm from The Swedish School of Textiles, University of Borås. And for Print/Embroidery, it was Xiaorui Shi of Glasgow School of Art.
Meanwhile, in Fashion Communication Carolina Trinker of Parsons School of Design in the US took the prize.
In the public vote, the Fashion/Accessories/Textiles winner was Jeongho Hwang of Istituto Marangoni Milan.
All winners will have their work showcased in a virtual gallery hosted by Google Arts & Culture. The collaboration means that students’ work “will reach a further audience which can help launch their independent businesses or gain employment within the creative industries”.
“Over the last four years, hundreds of graduates have gained employment or launched their own brands thanks to this proactive initiative — making it the biggest online showcase of graduating artists & designers worldwide,” said Arts Thread.
The Global Design Graduate Show will return in 2025 for students graduating in the year 2025-2025.
