Heritage British fashion and lifestyle brand Lyle & Scott has opened The Hive, a ‘centre of operational excellence’ in the Scottish borders. Marking “significant investment-led expansion in Scotland”, after major investment in London and Europe over the past 10 years, the Selkirk hub marks “a commitment from Lyle & Scott to build on the brand’s Scottish roots and British heritage”.
Launched to help “streamline a swathe of Lyle & Scott’s internal processes” while “seeing dramatic improvements in international business efficiencies since the operation was launched”, The Hive will enable the brand to continue to deliver on their ambitious growth strategies for the greater good, alongside referencing a hub of activity”.
Separated into three smaller ‘hives’ with further expansions planned, the facility covers a range of services including sales and logistical administration, sales processing, data capture, and stockist support.
The Hive has also created 20 immediate new jobs for people based in the Selkirk area with more new employment opportunities planned for later this year and into 2025.

Ahead of our anniversary year, it made absolute sense to us to put further significant investment in Scotland to help drive the next chapter of Lyle & Scott’s international growth and unlock the next generation of talent in the Borders.”
