Farfetch is continuing its year-long link-up with Nataal and this time it’s brought Thom Browne into the fold to help it create content that supports Nataal’s “revolutionary talent” celebrating contemporary fashion, beauty, visual arts, music and culture from Africa and its diaspora.

The partnership originally launched back in February and for this third iteration, the participants are focusing on “togetherness through a diverse global lens”. Three photographers have interpreted Thom Browne’s new FW21 collection, with the help of their personal communities.
Each story features a two-part editorial curated by Nataal and using Browne’s tailoring “to express the importance of unity, kinship and the power of ‘we’.”
This has seen Djeneba Aduayom shooting multidisciplinary artists Kolby, Byron and William in LA, while Arielle Bobb-Willis has shot model Symone Lu and her skateboarding friends in New York. And moving away from the US, Ismail Zaidy shot his siblings Othmane and Fatima Zahra in Marrakech. Each of them also “discuss their journey to photography, their approach to community and working with Thom Browne on this project”.
The third creative project comes after the first iteration featured Balmain, its creative director Olivier Rousteing and his collection, with the second in October being built around Valentino.
