Ralph Fiennes has undergone mind-blowing transformation for his new role.
The 62-year-old actor underwent a dramatic transformation in preparation for the film, in which he plays the Greek hero, Odysseus.
Fiennes has been nominated for three Oscars for Schindler's List (1993), The English Patient (1996), and last year's The Clave.
The actor is widely known also for his role in the Harry Potter film series.
A fan page on X posted two photos of him showing off his incredible new physique, as well as his gray-bearded look for the upcoming film, The Return.
The actor previously revealed his grueling diet and fitness regime for the role, which saw him give up bread, sweets, and alcohol.
In the epic film, the star plays Odysseus, who returns home to his wife Penelope, played by Juliette Binoche, after 20 years.
"In The Odyssey, he sheds his rags, so it was clear that I had to show my body. I wanted it to be believable, as a man who fought, swam and sailed, and didn't eat very much."
It took Ralph two and a half months before filming to get into shape for the role.
His regimen included cutting out various foods, as well as alcohol, and upping his intake of protein-rich foods, complex carbohydrates, and vegetables.
Also, the Grand Budapest Hotel star worked out every day at the gym.
