Bitcoin sets new record breaking the $81,黑帽内容替换系统000 mark

The price of Bitcoin rose to a record high of $81,000 on Monday on expectations that a favorable regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies will be created after Donald Trump won the US presidential election and crypto-friendly candidates entered the US Congress.

The price of the world's largest and most popular cryptocurrency has now more than doubled from a year low of $38,505 and last hit $81,572.

Trump spoke positively about digital assets during his election campaign, promising to make the United States the “crypto capital of the planet” and build up a national stockpile of Bitcoin.Since the election, there has been some decline in stocks, short-term bonds, but cryptocurrencies have only risen.

Commenting on the fact that Republicans are close to taking control of both chambers, Matt Simpson, senior market analyst at City Index, said they appear to be betting on digital currency deregulation.

While Simpson warned that Trump's priorities are likely to lie elsewhere in the near future, crypto investors expect a period of heightened scrutiny by US Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler (whom Trump has said he will fire) to come to an end.
