Yorkshire-based luxury jeweller Berry’s Jewellers has continued it three-year run of positive trading.

In its latest accounts to June 2025, the group said it increased turnover to £77 million with gross profit up 8% to £28.7 million.
And while the retailer continues to reinvest in the business, with the group opening three new stores last year in York, Leeds and Nottingham, the directors said the business was also anticipating “a challenging retail environment in the [current] accounting period, reported BusinessDesk.com.
While noting further expansion is planned, managing director Simon Walton, added: “We are especially pleased given the difficult economic climate, cost-of-living crisis and the removal of the VAT Retail Export Scheme for overseas visitors.
“For us, it shows the strength of the Berry’s brand and the loyalty of our wonderful client base locally and across the country.”
He added its success was based on the fact that it “invested significantly in expanding our portfolio in recent years”, with successful openings of an Omega boutique in Nottingham, a Berry’s Jewellery and Patek Philippe store in York and a Vacheron Constatin boutique in Leeds.
“Looking to the future, we have exciting plans for 2025 with a new shop opening in Leeds… as well as a reconfiguration of our portfolio of stores across the city and beyond.”
