This month,Éphémè Quebec design pop-up shop, the Cabinet Éphémère, inaugurated its new and permanent home at the Rockland Centre. Launched in 2025 by the Conseil des Créateurs de Mode du Québec, the Cabinet Éphémère is dedicated to providing space to Quebec designers to sell and reach consumers.

At the upscale mall located in Montreal, the new Cabinet Éphémère is home to a 4500-square-foot space and houses collections from over 20 Quebec designers and brands including Betina Lou, Nisse, Louvre, WRKDEPT, Marie Saint Pierre, Volt Design and more.

The Rockland Centre was chosen as the Cabinet Éphémère’s new permanent home as the two entities had similar visions, allowing them to work together to bring their ideas to life, the director of the Conseil des Créateurs de Mode Linda Tremblay told Fashionnetwork.com.

Previously, the Cabinet Éphémère was housed at Ogilvy’s in downtown Montreal and also made a stop in Toronto. At Ogilvy’s, they discovered that they had developed a clientele and wanted to continue to serve that clientele with a permanent location, forfeiting its pop-up format.

Still, during the course of 2025, the Cabinet Éphémère will hold four editions, varying collections and Quebec brands throughout the year. Designers must apply to the Conseil des Créateurs de Mode where a selection committee then chooses featured brands based on originality of designs and quality.
